For GM’s and CEO’s.  From one leader to another, I’m concerned about staff churn rates. These rates will accelerate as the Gen  X, Y and Gen Z generations move through management ranks.

We must find effective ways to slow churn which seems to vary between 10+ % and perhaps as high as 40% in some industry sectors and organisations !

Anyone who’s relatively happy with the staff rates of churn in their outfit, in my opinion, probably isn’t working hard enough to incentivate talent to stay and grow.

Learning & development is a clear strategy to reduce churn. Educating the upandcomers makes sense; as long as you can incentivate them to stay; and provide the stimulating environment and peer-relationships and support to link them with the values of your brands and vision.
